my tongue is choking me

it’s too thick

and my pulsating lips

are keeping it in

stuck on my face

which is twice too big

on my swollen body

stretched over in skin

I can’t use my fingers

my arms are heavy

attached to these limbs

pinned down by the weight

of everything

motionless
